This Privacy Policy explains how the ListingForge AI application ("ListingForge," "we," "us") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when a Shopify merchant ("you") installs and uses our app. By installing ListingForge AI, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information we collect

We only collect the data needed to generate and sync product listings:

• Store information. Your .myshopify.com domain and the Shopify access token issued during installation, used to authenticate API requests on your behalf.
• Content you provide. Product photos you upload and any product or supplier text you paste into the app.
• Generated content. The listing titles, descriptions, SEO fields, tags, and product images produced by the app for your review.
• Billing records. Credit-pack purchase identifiers and amounts processed through Shopify Billing. We never see or store your payment-card details — these are handled entirely by Shopify.
• Operational logs. Basic technical logs (timestamps, generation status, errors) used to operate and troubleshoot the service.

We do not request or access customer, order, or buyer personal data. The app uses only the write_products access scope and does not read your customers, orders, or financial records.

2. How we use information

• To generate listing copy, SEO, and product images from the content you provide.
• To sync finished products to your Shopify store as drafts when you choose to.
• To manage your credit balance and purchases.
• To operate, secure, debug, and improve the app.
• To respond to your support requests.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

3. Third-party service providers (subprocessors)

To deliver the service, we share the minimum necessary data with the following categories of providers, each acting on our instructions:

• Shopify Inc. — the platform your store and our app run on. See the Shopify Privacy Policy.
• AI model providers. The product photos and text you submit are processed by AI models to generate listing copy and product images.
• Cloud hosting and storage providers. Used to run the service and to store and serve uploaded and generated images.

These providers process content solely to perform generation, hosting, and storage for your account and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

4. Data retention

We retain your uploaded and generated content and app records for as long as the app is installed, so your listing library remains available. When you uninstall the app, or upon a verified deletion request, we delete the associated data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

5. Your rights and data deletion

ListingForge AI honors Shopify's mandatory privacy webhooks. When a shop is uninstalled or a redaction request is received from Shopify (shop/redact, customers/redact, customers/data_request), we delete or return the relevant data accordingly. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your data — to exercise them, email us at the address below.

6. Security

All data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS/TLS connections. Access tokens and credentials are stored securely and access is restricted to the operation of the service.

7. International transfers

Your content may be processed on servers located in different countries by us and the providers listed in Section 3. We take steps to ensure such transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards.

8. Children's privacy

ListingForge AI is a business tool intended for merchants and is not directed to children under 16.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date at the top of this page.
